Why I
didn’t bring my book to
class.
by
Michelle Priddy
I have to walk to school in the morning and as
I was walking, this huge spaceship beamed me up out of
nowhere! So then, this alien guy asked me to bring him to
his leader and I was like "Bring me to your leader first."
He agreed and I met his leader and his leader was like "to
save our planet we need your history book." This was
horrible. I could not give them my book, because if I did, I
knew Mr. Gallagher would be so mad at me - so I ran away. I
was running through the spaceship when a swarm of evil
monkeys attacked me with their bananas. I felt defeated and
tired and I could not fight them off. But I had to for the
approval of Mr. Gallagher. So in the midst of the attack I
pulled out my secret weapon. It was a rubber hammer. I
fought them all off. I had won. Then I ran into all the
aliens chatting it up in their dining room. They spotted my
history book and immediately pulled out their Japanese
fighting swords. There were so many that I gave up the book
and ran for my life. Then they congratulated me with a huge
carnival with clowns and everything. I was their hero. Their
planet was saved. I got a statue of me put right in the
center of their city. That is why I do not have my book
today. Next time I will try and be more careful and not get
abducted, by aliens. Ok - thanks - bye.
