On this page you will find many of the documents I will be using in class. If you need another copy of a handout to use at home or school - feel free to download any of these documents to your computer. Many of the files on the website are in the following formats: Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, or Adobe PDF. Double Click on the file that you need and the file will open in your browser. You will need Microsoft PowerPoint, (or its viewer) Adobe Reader, and Microsoft Word installed on your computer in order to utilize many of the files. If you do not have these porgrams installed on your home computer, please see the instructions below.
To save any of the documents directly to your computer, simply right-click on the link, click on "Save Target As" and then use the "Save In" box to direct where you want the file to be saved. That action will download the document directly to your computer for you to use at later time. I recommend this method, as it will maintain the integrity of the formatting of th
e documents. Also, make sure you remember to note "the path" (the place where you are saving the file on your computer) so you can find it later when you need it.
If you do not have Microsoft Word at home, you can also use the following sites to create documents that you then email to yourself and open in Microsoft Word when you get to school. In addition, these sites are especially useful for those times when you are traveling and don’t have access to your own computer.
NOTE: YOU CAN OPEN ANY FILE ON THE SCHOOL'S COMPUTERS IF YOU SAVE IT AS A (RICH TEXT FORMAT.rtf).
If you do not have the Microsoft PowerPoint or Microsoft Word program installed on your computer you can still view the PowerPoint presentations and Word documents . Simply download and install the Microsoft Word and PowerPoint Viewer. Click here to get the viewers.
To open PDF Files you will need the Adobe Reader. You can get it FREE by clicking on the Adobe Reader Logo and following the download instructions that you'll see on their site. ![]()

(I’ve been using this terrific product for more than six months and it works great. I have no interest in this company, beyond the recommendation that appears on the Microsoft Office Website. There are other similar types of products on the market that you might want to consider as well.)
